Cultural
At Marsden Infant and Nursery School, cultural development is an intrinsic part of our school culture. We foster a genuine sense of enjoyment and curiosity as our young children experience and celebrate our cultural diversity. Through the themes of our assemblies and lessons, we help pupils understand and appreciate how people live their lives now and in the past. We guide children to value their own cultural heritage while learning the importance of mutual respect and tolerance for other people’s values and beliefs. By experiencing a rich range of arts, language, food, music, and artefacts, our children develop a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and the wider world, preparing them for the next step on their journey in modern Britain.
