Marsden Infant & Nursery School

Marsden Infants and Nursery Friends Organisation (INFO) are a group of Parents and Teachers who support the school by raising funds to buy all the nice things for the school, things that are not funded by Kirklees Council or the Government.  

Helping out can be as simple as staying behind after school for half an hour or so to help prepare the school for an event or manning a stall at the school fair.  Any support is always appreciated and all money raised by INFO is spent directly on enhancing our children’s school experience. 

Over the past 12 months, INFO have raised funds by organising film nights, virtual balloon races, summer fairs, a Christmas raffle and they facilitated our Bounce for Books day, all of which raised much needed funds for new and exciting resources for school.

Funds raised by INFO also provide exciting experiences for our children, by offering financial support towards the cost of school visits, a visit from a 'pop up' pantomime every Christmas, a visit from a 'real pirate', Captain Burwash, to support children's topic work on Pirates and often support the purchase of new and exciting teching resources, such as our new Outdoor Learning Classroom and our Storytellers Circle.
